New Domain on Web Server missing dns svr records

I have a stand-alone server that is host to a web application.  I've created a new domain (new forest) for security as well as preparing for additional servers.  I have a problem where it looks like dns svr records were not created correctly during the DC Promo operation and now there appears to be connectivity issues.  Dcdiag /fix returns the following error:

   Testing server: Default-First-Site-Name\HOST1
      Starting test: Connectivity
The host 5c533dbd-a226-42e6-8968-b6c5296c08fe._msdcs.mydomain.com could not be resolved to an IP address.
Check the DNS server, DHCP, server name, etc.
Got error while checking LDAP and RPC connectivity. Please check your firewall settings.
         ......................... HOST1 failed test Connectivity

What is the best way to resolve this?

If you look in the root of the _msdcs.mydomain.com zone, what records are listed there?

I think I've made headway but now I'm down to error 53 when running DCDIAG and it looks like there is an issue sharing the NetLlogin share and the Sysvol share.  Most of the solutions I've found seem to revolve around restoring from another server however this is the only server in the newly created domain.  Here is the dcdiag output:

C:\Users\Administrator>dcdiag/fix

There was one at 2:16pm (1202) and a warning at 2:21pm (2212) but nothing but informational ones since then. (6:20pm)

Is there an informational 2214 event after the 2212 warning?

Sorry for the late reply.  It looks like there was an issue with the Sysvol folder that once corrected resolved the other issues.  It looks like it wasn't created correctly when the new forrest/domain was created.
Commented:
Running dcdiag /fix and focusing on the errors around the sysvol issue seems to resolve the error.
