Bitlocker Issues

I'm trying to turn bitlocker on a new HP laptop, but be able to not have the user need a PIN or password when booting.  Older machines are working fine just not the brand new laptops.

You need to have Trusted Platform Module enabled in the BIOS.

The new Bios doesn't have it spelled out like it used to be, but i do have it enabled from what i have read.
It works fine with a password or USB pre-boot, but that is not ideal.  I have a hard enough time with users just logging into their computers without extra passwords to remember.  Is it just not possible with 2.0.  I can't downgrade it to 1.2.

Is this task still being worked on, Andy?

No.  Turning it off and then back on worked.

Fine. You should select comments (your own possibly included) as answers(s) in order to close this question.
