Video card passthrough does recognize monitor.

I’ve installed a Nvidia gt730 on my esxi 6.0 server and used the passthrough feature to use it with the vm, the driver got installed without a problem and the device says that it is working fine but i get not signal on my screen, any ideas?

It's not supported the GT730 (or GTX) is not a supported Nvidia GPU for ESXi.

Only business cards are supported, not consumer cards, consumer cards can do strange things.

You are lucky it even can be configured for PCI passthrough.

It would appear to be hit and miss with ESXi build and version, motherboard, and GPU. (Nvidia).

Put a Quadro card in and it will work, but GTX card, and your mileage will vary.

If you are wanting to virtualise and use consumer GPUs, you are far better using UNRAID.
