How to deactivate Oracle EBS "Internal Monitor" from the command line or sqlplus

I tried this but the "Internal Monitor" was still running. (even after restarting the apps)
CONCSUB apps/<apps passwd> SYSADMIN 'System Administrator' SYSADMIN CONCURRENT FNDIMON DEACTIVATE FNDIM_SRVRNAME

Linux SRVRNAME 3.0.101-108.52-default #1 SMP Tue May 29 19:42:53 UTC 2018 (80e6815) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

In Oracle EBS, the "Internal Monitor" is required.  That is, unless you can get along with no scheduled jobs in EBS, but that would be a very unusual EBS system.

What advantage do you see or what is the business reason for deactivating this process?

It is my understanding that the Internal Monitor is only used if you have multiple app nodes. I only have one app node. I think you may be referring to the Internal Manager.
