So if we migrate through recover point to our secondary data center

And when users logs into outlook will ost be downloaded again?

Don't migrate the OST just let Outlook rebuild it. OST is only a cache and doesn't contain anything that isn't still on the server.

Yeah, what Brian B said.  There is no reason to backup or restore an OST file.  It will just get rebuilt after you setup the Outlook profile.

Hello,

As long as the pathname does not change for the machine on which the OST file is located, this is not a problem. but if the name of the path changes yes it is a problem because you will have to either reconfigure Outlook or use the procedure of moving the OST file.

But like the others, I recommend you to let outlook do it.
