In fact Brent Ozar's sp_Blitz found this setting for me, and I couldn't turn it off in the GUI in SSMS 18 as the checkbox is no longer there! (I used the version that came with that version of SQL to easily see it..)<br />

So yes, turn it off. It was never a good practice.<br />
