Where could I get an Excel or Access version of the dummy data set - Worldwide Importers? I know I can get it via SQL but I want to get the Excel or Access version?  Here is the SQL link..https://github.com/Microsoft/sql-server-samples/releases/tag/wide-world-importers-v1.0

There is no Excel or Access version of the Wide World Importers database. There was (or is) an Access database know as AdventureWorks, which is where the Wide World database came from:

https://github.com/Microsoft/sql-server-samples/releases/tag/adventureworks

These folks apparently converted the SQL version of WideWorld to Access:

https://www.poweredsolutions.co/2017/07/11/free-wideworldimporters-access-database-and-new-power-bi-video-tutorials/

These are both databases, so they wouldn't really translate over to Excel.

Fair enough - but if I wanted to get access (ahem!) to the tables - useful to have dummy data in the kind of work I do - and I don't have SQL Server - how would I get them? Thanks :-0

You could also install SQL Server Express, which is free, or the Developer edition of SQL Server (which is also free, but not for production use).
