How Can I Legally Activate Windows XP Pro Now?
I have apps that only run on XP. I upgraded my PC and had to reinstall the OS and I have a genuine Key. However, the Activation routines don't function anymore since MS pulled the plug on XP. I can't run my apps on any other OS. I have tried a couple Youtube solutions without success. Does anyone have a viable solution???
Thanks
Thanks
Have you tried Activating by phone?

I don't think "normal" activation will be possible.
If memory serves, Microsoft authentication servers require TLS version 1.2 or better which is likely why he's having a problem activating
That can still be patched (The POS version of XP runs TLS 1.2 and this will install into any version of XP)

Are you sure the programs won't run on 32 bit versions of Windows 10? Most often, people think a program won't work on Windows 10 because most Windows 10 installs are 64 bit and no 16 bit software runs on it. If you use the 32 bit version of Windows 10, you'll likely be fine. Unless the program is controlling hardware via drivers that Windows 10 can't use.
Hello,
What I will do, I will look on the internet, a version of Windows XP (SP 3 at least) that does not require activation.

But that does not meet the requirement in the question title.
Back to telephone activation and XP is still managed by the automated system here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/existing-customer/activation-centers
(Although it says Volume Activation on the page these are the same numbers for Retail)
Just called the Toll-Free number and is still up and running.

All versions of XP require activation unless it was supplied preinstalled.

Turned out to be a problem with my LAN driver for the Gigabyte motherboard I'm using. After installing the proper driver, the online activation worked. Glad to see we can still activate XP. My apps are written in Delphi7. Looking to change to C#.
