SharePoint Online and configuring the search function
Hello Experts,
My organization recently migrated from SharePoint 2010 on premises to SharePoint online. I successfully configured a unique search function in the 2010 environment. When the site was migrated to SharePoint Online, I am unable to receive any results from the search box that comes out-of-the-box in SharePoint. I have recreated the search results page in SharePoint Online and still am not successful in receiving any results. The search criteria must be able to search the meta data in the lists and libraries. I administrative privileges to the site, but not to the cloud. Where should I start to look for a solution to my dilemma? This sub-site is very dependent upon this search function. Is there an alternative?
