How to answer calls by Voice on a Samsung S9+ Mobile Phone

Has anyone been able to get their Android phone to answer calls by voice command successfully? If so, can you share how you did it?

I've followed a number of tutorials I found on the web but without any success.

I have a Samsung SM-G965F S9+ Mobile and want to be able to answer calls by voice command using Bixby (or via an app if need be) while driving.

I can easily make calls with Bixby via voice commands but have never been able to answer calls in the same way.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion, Sam. I hadn't tried that actually because I've been concentrating on using the built-in Bixby assistant. Do you know anyone who has successfully used Hey Google in this way?
Hi Andrew,

It sounds like you have Bixby Voice set up since you can make calls.

What voice commands have you tried using to answer phone calls?
Hi Martin,

Yes, I have Bixby Voice working and I honestly couldn't tell you all the voice commands I've tried. I gave up on it as a lost cause at one stage and just forgot all about it until yesterday when I was driving along and couldn't answer a call that came in without swiping the phone that I was reminded I still hadn't resolved that for myself.

It seems that when the phone's ringing, Bixby isn't trying to activate at all, yet if I'm just driving along and tell Bixby to place a call, it does so without any issues.

I'd love to hear any ideas you have about getting it to finally work as they're becoming quite strict on touching your mobile here in Australia of late :)

No "consistently reliable" solution found. The function appears to be buggy.
I've finally found out why Bixby won't reliably answering incoming calls. It's mostly related to Sensitivity settings that seem to have been removed from my Samsung S9+ with recent updates. All the articles and instructions I found on the web about adjusting Bixby Voice sensitivity no longer work because it's set to medium on my phone and can not be changed. (Setting now greyed out)

I was also able to increase the chances of bixby answering a call by lowering ring tone volume.
