Administrator account alwyas created a temporary profile
local admin account tries to log in with a user profile disk instead of a local profile.
I'm adding a new server to our farm. We already have 2 working servers in the farm, not counting the session broker and web broker. This new server will not allow us to log in as the local administrator without creating a temporary profile. I've done all the usual troubleshooting with removing the .bak entries from the registry without any luck. I even created a new local administrator account and when I logged on it created a User Profile Disk and logged me in with that. So my suspicion is that when I try to log in as administrator, it tries to create or use a user profile disk and fails because the UPD is already mounted on some other server. So I'm not sure how to force the local machine to use the local folder and not the UPD one.

Yes. I'm logging in from the domain controller, using the mstsc admin console.
