Sony Projector Displays Blank Screen Using HDMI
Sony Projector model VPL-PHZ10 displays a blank screen at times. It works fine with some laptops, and displays a blank page with other laptops. The 15.5" Dells seem to work OK, But smaller Dells and other brands may work OK one day, and display a blank page later the same day or the next day. These aren't obsolete laptops - they're all i5 or better usually no more than 3 years old. We've tried both a 25' HDMI and a 10" HDMI, both Blue Rigger brand. We have no problem when we use an Airtame Wireless HDMI plugged into the same HDMI ports of the projector. I have a call into Sony Professional Support, but they say 1-2 days for a return call. I see no firmware available for download on their website, although it's possible I'm looking in the wrong place. Any suggestions that might help us keep the connection stable would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for the suggestion. None of these laptops are high-end or low-end. They're all middle of the road. The ones we've checked have typical resolutions. Not sure about the sync frequency. I'll use your information as we proceed through troubleshooting.

The other thing is: Do these failing laptops use an extraordinary output signal by resolution or sync frequency?
