software to manage harddisk/raid in supermicroserver
hi,
got a super micro server running 2012 R2 essentials. got raid 1 with 2 disks.
got super doctor5 software to manage all components of server. but It’s not detecting the harddisk health, it comes as unknown.
upon researching I found super doctor5, does not detect harddisk if it’s in RAID.
is there any other software I can install to manage harddisk health or raid health from
desktop. ? like store administrator or raid manager. any software that work with super micro servers ?

hi,
how do I find it ? what raid controller it is
and my main issue is - server is beeping continuously for last 3 hours now. from superdocotr5 - I can see all components are healthy. like power/memory/cpu/fan
and through diskpart command- I can see all volumes are healthy. so I assume there is no issues with harddisk as well.
but still did not try restarting sever - wanted to install any kind of software to make sure raid/disks are all good before restarting server

hi noxcho,
I installed crystal disk info - detected both hdd and came as good.
but the server beeping continuously, is there any way I can find out why it’s happening ??? or can I just restart server and see ?
as I told before, checked cpu/memory/fan/power and harddisk now- all came as healthy
