Networking vs SAN (Storage Area Network)
Hi,
Server#1(Dell R510): it is at 135 subnet
Server#2 (Dell R 510): it is at 135 subnet
The SAN (Dell MD 3200): it is at 135 subnet
Server#1, server#2 and MD 3200 are located in the data center (Colo).
From Office (It is at different location with Colo), I can do the followings:
I can RDP to Server#1 (which from it, I can see “all network drives”),
I can install the Management software for the SAN (=Management Software Dell Modular Disk Storage Manager “MDSM”) at Server#1 remotely, then when I launch the MDSM, I can see the SAN (MD3200)
But from Server#2, I cannot see or connect to "any network drives"
Question: Why i can not see any network drives from Server#2?

@Andyalder:
Server#1 has 3 static IP; server#2 has 3 static IP
I DISABLE 2 of the static IP at EACH server; now, I can see all the network drives of the file server either from server#1 or server#2.
I installed the MDSM in each of the above Servers.
What is the next steps?
Somebody says that i have to do CLUSTERING related to the SAN?
Post it back if you have a chance please.
Thanks,
tjie

You only need MDSM on one server, all it does is configure it.
Can you confirm whether it is iSCSI or SAS and whether it has one or two controllers.

" Can you confirm whether it is iSCSI or SAS and whether it has one or two controllers."
For Controllers:
- I believe it is TWO (because when i have to reset the admin password, i have to put it at the first one or the top one or controller # 0)
For ISCSI OR SAS:
- How or where do i have to check it please?

Might help to watch the videos here. https://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukbsdt1/sln163869/powervault-md3000i-documentation-guides-for-setup-installation-clustering-performance-and-more?lang=en
MD3200 is the same as the MD3000 as far as configuring it goes.

It is related to usual NETWORKING problem.
In the office, i have "file server" which has a lot of "folders" (I can access by mapping these folders... which i called or named them as "network drive"; there are F: drive, S: drive, ETC
when I RDP to Server#1, i can ACCESS or CONNECT all the above network drives (which are all located at File Server);
But when i RDP to Server#2, i can NOT access or connect any of the above network drives.
The Server#1 and Server#2 are located at Colo.
Any solution?
Thanks,
