Bitlocker Wont let me use a PIN

Hi, i have a machine without a TPM, and it wont let me use a PIN code (only USB or a Flash drive) - i changed the authentication type in group policy, but no luck.

This is a W10 machine.

That is normal since using a pin has the tpm to authenticate with.

any workarounds ?
Has nothing to do with uefi.
PIN needs a tpm. Passwords however are possible anywhere.

Describe your problem.

So im setting up bitlocker, usuaully it has an option for PIN, USB, or PASSWORD.

But no PIN option on this machine for some reason.

Ive used older machines all without TPM and there was still an option for PIN..
