Hello Experts,

Anyone can recommend a good cost effective Intel 10 gig card to be used with HyperV on Windows 2016?

I used them on 2012 R2 and they are perfect, but not sure if they are good on 2016

Pretty much any Intel card will work.

I suggest starting a pair of X540-T2 PCIe cards.

They are relatively up to date and support most, if not all, of the latest acceleration tech.

I'm using HP 530T's (w/Broadcom BCM57810 chips) in mine and they work great.

Yes, the Intel x540-t2 or x550-x2 depending on whether you want 10GBase-T or SFP+ interfaces. I get genuine Intel cards from eBay that are pulled from servers, so they are not a knock-off using the same chip. My servers are Dell, so I get those which may have some Dell specific firmware.
