HI,

I´d like to change MX from On-Prem to Office 365 even there are only 10 mailboxes  and 4xx On-Prem

I found:

If you change your MX record to point to the Exchange Online Protection service in Office 365: This is the recommended configuration for hybrid deployments. All messages sent to any recipient in either organization will be routed through the Exchange Online organization first. A message addressed to a recipient that's located in your on-premises organization will be routed first through your Exchange Online organization and then delivered to the recipient in your on-premises organization. This route is recommended if you have more recipients in your Exchange Online organization than in your on-premises organization. This configuration option is required for Exchange Online Protection to provide scanning and blocking for spam.

The main reason is.. Using EOP instead of old On-Prem AntiSpam

Should I also change autodiscover record?

No you dont necessarily need to change Autodiscover as well. You haven't provided any information about your configuration though, so make sure you have connectors in place to handle the mail flow from EOP to the remaining on-prem mailboxes.

If your mailboxes are still on onpremise, then no need to change the autodiscover record to point to O365.

Once they are migrated then you can...

For NOW EOP is fine..

If you already run the Hybrid Configuration Wizard to have Hybrid Exchange Environment.. as you mentioned.. the connector all will be setup properly to handle the mail flow..

You can create a new MX record with high priority (lets say 10) to route few of the emails to EOP.. later you can set the MX priority same like existing one (lets say 5) and low it to receive all the mails in EOP (lets say 1).

For your qns.. there is no need to change the Auto Discover Record.. HCW that you run will take care of the auto discover redirection for Office 365 mailboxes.
