I have a Dymo Labelwriter 400 Turbo attached to one of my workstations, WIN25, &nbsp; A Dymo Labelwriter 450 is connected to another of the workstations, WIN1. &nbsp; When I use Dymo Connect on WIN25 to try to print a label, the only choice is the Labelwriter 450 on WIN1. &nbsp; I have chosen the correct size of label, but I still cannot print on the Labelwriter 400 Turbo.

I have chosen the correct size of label, but I still cannot print on the Labelwriter 400 Turbo.

Why can't I use the Dymo printer connected to my computer?

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.

Windows OS

A peripheral device is defined as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer (i.e., the memory and microprocessor). These auxiliary devices are intended to be connected to the computer and used in conjunction with it. Examples of external peripherals include mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor, external Zip drive or scanner, while internal peripherals include CD-ROM drive, CD-R drive or internal modem. Today's new devices, such as tablets, smartphones and wearable computing devices are considered peripherals as they can be connected and used on a computer system. The difference, however, is that these devices can run independently of the computer system.
