one of the user complain receive one email from one of the recipient facing mail delay issue ,i using mx tools box and found that is one hours delay from recipeint server to our server  ,please advice what should i do ?

If I have read the problem correctly, is there a way to get in touch with someone who manages the email on the other side? I have had several issues where the problem exist on the sender’s side.

Do you have any logs of the negotiations on your system? One we were having trouble sending emails to kept showing a disconnect on my smart connector. When I contacted their IT person, it ended up being an issue with their Baraccuda system.

Without being able to work with someone on the other end, this may be difficult to troubleshoot.

I think what i can verify my side is what time the message deliver to our server right ?

Correct. You can only verify when it entered your network. This is why it is helpful to speak to someone on the other end to determine when it left their system and what issues they may have or had been having.

we found out this period we are doing maintenance for the gateway ,I believe that is the reason sender can not reach our server immediately.Thanks
