asked on

Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy

Hi,

I have a user,  that has had full rights to her bosses email and was always able to see all events in his calendar.
sometime recently, when she goes to see if his cal has an open time for new events, she is only seeing his time boxed out.

I did try to clear the outlook cache
and tried to
Outlook.exe /clearfreebusy.

on the last item, I got cant start outlook,
switch is not recognized.

this is on a Windows 10 pc
with office 2016....

If you have admin rights on exchange open Exchange management Shell and check her rights to his calendar by running the below command

Get-MailboxFolderPermission "hisemailaddress:\calendar"  | Select User,AccessRights

Hi Fox,  unfortunately, I don’t have Admin to the exchange server. however, this is of course something that was working for her before.

Hi Paul, in my description, I mistakenly wrote /Clear...
however, in the title and at the users desk I did do
/clean... but will confirm.

thank you both
