I am working on old code C# Oracle using DotNet 2.0. it uses the Oracle DBHelper.  I was not using DotNet back then, I started on 4+. What does DBHelper do?  I need to change the code to work with DotNet 4+ using Oracle.MangedDataAccess usig Nuget.  basically I want to
Replace System.Data.OracleClient with Oracle.ManagedDataAccess
Can someone show me where to start?

Never heard of DBHelper.  It isn't an Oracle product that I'm aware of.

I Googled around and think it might be this:
https://www.nuget.org/packages/LiteX.DbHelper.Oracle/

I'm not sure what it provides but If I were porting old code, I would probably scrap it and move to straight ODP.Net.

Moving to the ODP.Net Managed Driver is the right move.  I never looked back once I started using it.

Moving from the Unmanaged driver for the Managed one wasn't difficult.  The calls were mainly the same.  Shouldn't be difficult from DBHelper to the native driver.

The main page for ODP.Net is here:
https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/appdev/dotnet/odp.html

I've moved away from .Net development and never used "ODP.NET Core" so cannot comment on it.
