Windows 10 - Printer Properties Menu option missing under Devices and Printers for all printers

Windows 10 Printer Properties Menu Option Missing

One of my clients has several computers where the "Printer Properties" menu option is missing from the pull-down menu when you right-click a printer icon under the Devices and Printers menu of the Control Panel. Printer Properties is missing.
Actually several menu options are missing:   See what's Printing, Set as default printer, Printer Preferences, and Printer Properties are all missing.

what version of windows are they using, and do the printers print, but you are just not able to change the default printer or printer properties. Is this a printer from the print server, or are these printers installed manually on each pc?
Check the user's permissions for the printers. I assume they are printing via a server, so this must be done on the server, via Printer Properties > Security.

They are using Windows 10.

The user presumably has admin priv.

One of the printers, the one I am trying diagnose and fix, (so they are not printing) is a local printer connected via USB - Not a Shared Network printer.
The printer is a Star TSP100 Receipt printer.
Did you just let windows install the printer drivers for the star receipt printer or did you download and install them manually. It is probably best to install the drivers manually.

The Star Printer driver is installed manually.

The Set as Default printer, Printer Preferences and Printer properties menu options are missing from all printers and on 2 computers.
The user presumably has admin priv.
That's not an assumption I would make without checking.
The printer is a Star TSP100 Receipt printer.
That contradicts with:
The Set as Default printer, Printer Preferences and Printer properties menu options are missing from all printers and on 2 computers.
So we're back to whether they (at least 2 people) are printing via a server (or the printer is shared from a PC). I suspect the PC with the USB connected printer is sharing it, so you need to check the permissions on the sharing PC.
