switch core vs gui

Hi Experts,

I have one question.
When I install WIN 2019 with GUI, is it possible to uninstall the GUI and just use the CORE mode ?
And the same question for WIN2016.

Easy to way to remove GUI execute below powershell commands
Uninstall-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Shell
Uninstall-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra –Restart

Remove GUI.
Once server reboot you will get only command shell window.

The post above is incorrect.  You *cannot* switch from core to GUI or from GUI to core in 2019 or 2016. The powershell provided was for 2012 era, and that functionality was removed with 2016.

so which answer is now correct regarding a 2016 or 2019 server ?

Cliff is correct; this cannot be done in 2016 or 2019 without reinstalling the OS. (I don't know why that functionality was removed, as I thought it was very convenient in 2012 and 2012 R2, but I'm sure someone had their reasons.)
