You can always go into VBA, open the Immediate Window and enter:
Activesheet.Columns("D:D").Hidden = False

Open in new window

You can also do it without VBA

Press F5
type D:D
press Enter
From the Home Menu, Format > Hide & unhide > Unhide columns

I entered the code and compiled getting error invalid outside procedure. My sheet name is Sheet1 (not to original). The compile error gets caught up on the false
Here's a macro that will unhide column D:
Sub UnhideColD()

  Application.Goto Reference:="C4"
  Selection.EntireColumn.Hidden = False
End Sub

Open in new window

You can make a second macro to hide it again by changing Selection.EntireColumn.Hidden = False to = True.

Thanks! Glad to see it worked for you.
