Converting .MDE to .MDB

I am helping a friend with an old access file that is compiled into an .MDE file.    If possible, we need to get the reports and forms out of it.  I know its not easy to convert an .mde to an .mdb, but is it possible?

Microsoft Access* mde

Ditto what Anders said.

I've seen this site before.  I was hoping to learn how I can do it myself.

Wayne is the only one outside of Microsoft that I know of that has the knowledge to do it.

This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

Understood.  Thanks.

Just to be clear,  it would most likely take you a few years to be able to reverse engineer the db format and the vba pseudo code format.

In fact it’s such a task,  I’ve often wondered how Wayne managed to pull it off.

Guess he’s far smarter than I<g>

You will need to prove ownership to Wayne btw ....
