The free or paid for part of Chocolatey?

I have done this and you need to build your own package repo if you want to use Chocolatey for free.

Essentially you use NuGet package editor to change the locations of the binaries of the packages to a location web server then publish these Chocolatey pages locally. You then call these packages with choco --source

Obviously you need to download install.ps1 and run is on all computers as a dependency

Can you clarify this or is there a user guide/blog?
