how can I determine the U.S. location and estimated delivery date of an internationally shipped package?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

I am wondering how I can track down an internationally shipped package from China within the US.   The international tracking link is http://track-chinapost.com/ with a tracking number of LW839130785CN.  The most current status given is 11/14/2019 which is 10 days ago.  The order itself was shipped on 11/08/2019.  That said, I am wondering if there is a way of determining if my package has arrived within the U.S. along with its estimated delivery date.  This package is going to be a special present for a good friend.  As such, I am getting a little nervous about the whole thing.

If someone could help me determine the current location of my package in addition to an estimated delivery date, it will be greatly appreciated.

            Thank you

            George

I can give you my experiences from buying on Ebay and AliExpress. Many Asian sellers especially China. I bought an item on Ebay and when I saw the estimated date of delivery it was not a specific date but rather a range of dates. Curiously the earliest date was day 61 from the date of purchase. What did that mean? The deadline for a buyer to leave Ebay feedback is 60 days. The deadline to file a claim with Paypal is 45 days and the deadline to open  a claim on Ebay is 30 days. If the item arrived during the estimated time frame the buyer has no recourse if the item is broken, the wrong item or does not arrive at all. I did have an item arrive and it did not match my cell phone. It was only around $3 and free shipping but the point was the seller sent the wrong one. They did give a refund even though it was after 60 days from the day I bought it.

Some sellers on both those sites do get items to you in a timely manner. A few weeks (?)

I have gotten some good deals such as a nice leather business card wallet for under $3 and free shipping from China. I've even bought items from China for 99 cents and free shipping. How? They delay all orders for as long as they can until they get enough to ship in 1+ container and likely to a facility on the west coast. And they mix in many low cost items like the wallet with much more expensive items they sell like electronics. Then to offer free shipping on 500 $0.99 items the shipping container is marked in such a way as to avoid certain shipping fees.
It is impossible to ship a single $1 item and free shipping from China.

I have however bought many items through China sellers on both sites because the price was lower than I could buy in my own hometown stores.
he should be happy that the item was delivered to his front door today
