Conditional Formatting in Column B Based on Column A Values

Example spreadsheet attached.
I would like to highlight every person in column B which appears in column A as a Dog.

I'm not sure you can do that with conditional formatting but try this workbook,

If you select the cells in column B that need to be conditionally formatted, you can use a formula criteria like:
=SEARCH("dog",A2)
