Why is that suddenly when I try to login at http://localhost/login.php I get no response, but when I use my local IP address it works?

RPC is probably not allowed on the PC. Localhost is just an alias for 127.0.0.1, and it might also be blocked by the computer's firewall, if enabled. If you turned off the firewall and enabled RPC, localhost would probably work as well.

Side note:  "localhost" in this scenario works only when you are using the same computer that is hosting the web server, i.e., if you are on computer A and the server is on computer B, then "localhost" means computer A, not computer B.
Hi Experts,

This is the PC where the server is residing at, and it always worked, this is what I meant to say above
Why is that suddenly when I try to login

What could possible be the reason?

Thanks,
Ben

Commented:
The webserver cannot start because another service/program (FileZilla?) is using the port it expects to run on.

Although, now looking at the debug output, it appears that the webserver *is* running.

Did your PC recently undergo a Windows update? It may have turned on a firewall, or blocked ports that were open prior to the update.
@Sam,
Last night it was still working, I installed Office updates this afternoon, do you think this may have caused?
Restarted Apache and MySQL services, still not good.
Thanks,
Ben

Of course its running, otherwise I wouldn't get to it thru the IP address either...
