Could you point the databases most commonly used by SAP?

I know SAP could use MSSQLServer.

I guessed SAP uses a proprietary database also, isn't it?

SAP software is Database Independent and runs on Oracle, DB2,SQL Server, SAP HANA, SAP Sybase, MySQL etc.
