Guest compatibility on VMware 6.7

Hi, I am upgrading our VMware cluster from 6.0 to 6.7. I encountered an issue with a VM guest with a very old OS (Open Suse 11.4).
VM runs fine on 6.0 hosts, but is not working on hosts already upgraded to 6.7.
I don't think is an issue with virtualized hard disk (LSI, Scsi controller, IDE controller, I tried all); system "hangs" immediately after kernel loading.
I checked this URL:

https://blogs.vmware.com/guestosguide/guest-os/linux/suse-linux-enterprise

and I would like to understand if there is no chance at all.
Any suggestion?

Thank you very much

I cannot see any reference for Open Suse 11.4 on ESXi on the HCL.

I can see it listed for Workstation 8.0!
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Desktop 11 Service Pack 4

Support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Desktop 11 Service Pack 4 has been introduced for these products:

ESXi 5.1 Update 3: OSP Format Tools are not yet available.
ESXi 5.5, 5.5 Update 1, 5.5 Update 2 and 5.5 Updat3: OSP Format Tools are not yet available.
ESXi 6.0: OSP Format Tools are not yet available.
OSPs are available at VMTools 10.0.5 and ESXi 6.0 Update1.

different ???

did you change the hardware version or is it the same VM ?
I didn't change hardware version. I just upgraded some ESXi hosts from 6.0 to 6.7
On 6.0 hosts, VM is still running fine.
If I try to move such VM to another host (with 6.7), doesn't boot.
