Hi Experts,

is it possible to change a domian via CMD ?
I tried netdom /join....but here come the error, the machine is still connected to a domain.

When I use the GUI it is possible to change directly the domain.

Any ideas ?

You can't join a domain if the system is already joined. You would need to use NETDOM move

netdom move /?

The syntax of this command is:

NETDOM MOVE machine /Domain:domain [/OU:ou path]
           [/UserD:user] [/PasswordD:[password | *]]
           [/UserO:user] [/PasswordO:[password | *]]
           [/UserF:user] [/PasswordF:[password | *]]
           [/REBoot[:Time in seconds]]
           [/SecurePasswordPrompt]

NETDOM MOVE Moves a workstation or member server to a new domain
