I don't think it has anything to do with being a VM. What is the operating system on the guest server? When does it change, at restart, or as soon as you click OK? It also sounds lie you are getting a default DHCP address, so is it showing as static, or DHCP?<br />

But since it is a VM, I would remove the network card and restart the guest. Then add the network card back in.

2019 host and 2019 VM, it happens as I press ok on the 2019 VM however it happened on another server on reboot.
