Trust Relationships
I tried creating a trust relationship and I am getting this message "The trust password verification failed with error 1355: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
A secure channel reset will be attempted.

The trust password verification test was inconclusive.

Both Domains time are synced and stub forwarding. I am able to ping hostname on the remote site fine.

I tried a dcdiag and on one of the DC and it is giving me LDAP bind failed with error 1326. My active directory users are visible so unsure of the problem.
Could be due to multiple reasons ..Can you tell us the summary of your domain environment and where are you facing this error.
Does other servers exhibit the same error ?

I have solved the problem, Thank you all for your help. It seemed there was an issue with that specific DC. I promoted another server to a DC and migrated roles to the new server. I demoted the problematic one and then I recreated the Trust successfully.
