Re-installing Windows 10 not finding hard drive
I have a Dell Precision 3420 with a Toshiba M.2 NVMe SSD running Windows 10, BIOS set to VEFI
I'm trying to reinstall Windows from a USB stick, It gets to the point where it needs the hard drive and I'm getting hard drive not found
please advice

Does your BIOS see it? If yes then try with AHCI mode of the drive in BIOS.

i believe that model does not come with an NVMe drive - right ?
so when you added it, it may need a driver
you can supply that during the install  - look here :  https://ssd.toshiba-memory.com/en-amer/ssd/rd400-ssd
