I have a database with command buttons that were working yesterday. The command buttons are not working today. Do you know what may have happened? I did do a compact and repair yesterday as processing was very slow.

What do the buttons do?  Can you post the VBA behind the buttons.
What happens exactly when you click them now?
Did you move the database, rename it?
Do you have a backup copy you could recover and test?

Commented:
The buttons per form various operations i.e. create reports, interact with VBA, open forms, update tables.
When I click on the command nothing happens.
I did not move the database or renamed it.
I do have a backup copy.

I can use the back up. I think I would remove the tables from the backup and add the current tables from my current database to the backup database. I am concern that this might happen again.

First thing I would do is check my VBA references.

I think that the code that makes the command buttons do something disappeared. I never touch anything related to VBA. I will set up the backup tomorrow and advise if everything is okay.

Thank you I ended up using a backup.
