Excel Formula with multiple times

Needs to calculate overall time from Open to Resolved
and
The total time it took to actually work the ticket (meaning need to take out the waiting times for approval)

I would like to see

Created time - Manager Approval time -BO Approval Time-Resolved time give me a total Time worked

Triage time can be ignored

Perhaps attach a sample of what you have and what you expect?

I'll take one guess though... As long as the cells are actually recognized and formatted as time, you should be able to do math on them, such as subtracting two times to find the difference.

What Brian said makes sense, but I can also add that if you don't have the means to accurately capture hours, minutes and seconds in time capture you may be trying to get too detailed.  Ran into a similar case of time capture and, more often than not, time was entered in for the day only, and when hours and minutes were entered, they were not accurate.  Just a thought...

I attached the file - I would like to see if I did it correctly and if not how to fix it, or how to improve what I got

Look at the Answer Tab to see how it could be done..

That gets me the Opened to Resolved (dont use the Closed date - thats the system closing it out 3 days after it is resolved)

I am also looking for the total time that it was worked - not the waiting time
