I've been exporting my emails using Outlook 2013 and 1026 for quite a while. I want to view the contents of backup.pst. file. Is there a way to spot verify that emails have been backed up or not? I found the file and it looks to have 479Mb of data but I can't see content.

Hi there! :)

I agree with @David Johnson, CD. The Pst file will be located in this file path example:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Outlook Files

I thank you for verifying I was on the right track.
I have been at the same company for over 25 years and have saved all my email during that time. I want to archive those emails and establish another email host. I used filezilla to attach the linux emails to my W10 file system and they seem to open ok in notepad.
