windows backup fails as no space. why it’s not deleting oldest backup to continue backup process
hi,
got a virtual machine server running 2016
got c disk of about 2.2TB
got an external harddisk of about 3TB
configured windows server backup to backup whole “c” drive everyday.
it works for few days, and comes with error”no space in destination”
my understanding is - windows server backup deletes old data if the destination is about to get full so it can backup again.
so why it’s not cleaning old data and comes as destination full after 1 week ??
