How to add people to iPhone group conversation

I have a group conversation and would like to add someone to this conversation. How can I do this?

use whatsapp :-p

Tap the group conversation that you want to add someone to.
Tap the top of the group conversation.
Tap , then tap Add Contact.
Enter the contact information for the person you want to add. Then tap Done.

The easy and widely used and recommended app is Whatsapp.

This is not a new conversation.  This is one that's already running.

 I'm in the middle of a conversation using the iPhone message system which is the green icon with the white cloud in the middle.  
I want to add someone to a current conversation in progress.icon
There's no way to do this!
So, I took the message balloon, pressed it on the screen and then forwarded via email.
