Hi
I saved my Excel 2019 file with code as an Excel Add-in to my desktop.
I can't see it. I haven't done this for years so may be missing something

When you save as an Add-in, Excel automatically switches the target folder. Please look in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns for your file.

Hi there! :)

Open Powershell as an Administrator and run this code. It will try to help you find all the Excel Add In files you have in your computer for you. The results will also show the file path in your C:/ directory for your reference. If you remember the name of the file and if the file is still in your computer, you should be able to find it in the results the code generates.

Get-ChildItem -Path C:\ -Include *.xlam -File -Recurse -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
