Exchange 2010 Server (EMC/EMS) not seeing Exchange 2013 Server (or mailbox database).

I'm going to be migrating from Exchange 2010 SP3 to Exchange 2013 soon, so I'm installing Exchange 2013 for the first time and the install went fine.  At least from the Exchange 2013 side.  On the Exchange 2013 server, I see all my Exchange 2010 servers and databases and was able to do a move from a 2010 mailbox database to a 2013 mailbox database without any issues.  However, upon working within the Exchange 2010 EMC/EMS, there is no reference to the Exchange 2013 Server or 2013 mailbox database at all.  Is there something that I need to do with the Exchange 2010 server to see the Exchange 2013 server?  Perhaps something that I need to do with the Exchange 2013 server?  AD?  

I'd appreciate any assistance, so that I can continue with my testing.
