Upgrading Mac from 10.9.5<br />

Can anyone suggest how I would go about upgrading a iMac OS from 10.9.5.<br />

Is there a way of still getting the 10.10 or 10.11 upgrade form the Appstore? <br />
<br />
I don't want to upgrade direct to the latest version and I don't know if you actually can even do that, but I dare say it is risky to upgrade to many levels in the 1 time.<br />

Can anyone help me out with how best to achieve this?
