Have a column with a drop down menu where is the information coming from?  How do I find the table that is populating the drop down?

Can you be more specific? What application is, what data source is using etc.

Click the cell then the Data tab.  Look at Data Validation for that cell.  It should show you the "Source"

when I click on data validation says source=binsize IS this a column in the sheet or a table someone created??? Thanks in advance Not sure where to find binsize and its values

To find the Source Data used for the data validation, select the cell with data validation, go to the Data Tab --> Data Validation and follow the instruction in the image below.

I agree with @slightwv (䄆 Netminder), it could either be named range or a table which has been renamed with a unique name for better differentiation of data sets in the workbook. You may also refer to the following link if you want an actual output to see the named ranges and their respective range.
