the reason I asked is because, I have seen an environment where they are updating Wyse thin Client with image of Windows 10.<br />

WinPE can be based on any Windows OS, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, or even Server OS - Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019.<br />

So if you want to use a newer fresher OS, then re-create WinPE based on a later OS.<br />

However this is only if you have issues, and are using RDP, because PCoIP and BLAST are based on the Horizon View Client, so you just need to update the client, not the OS.<br />

The issue is this is Wyse and not just roll your own WInPE BOOT disk on a cdrom.<br />
<br />
You may need a certain level of compatibility in the Wyse Client to support a later edition, we were once told in the early 90s by Wyse, you would be able to purchase a Wyse Thin Client and it would last 40 years until you need to replace it, this is NOT true, because Wyse does not maintain firmware for the devices for ever..... that support later versions of RDP, Citrix ICA etc<br />

and later Wyse devices would need replacement just like a Windows Computer!<br />
<br />
So you need to check with Wyse what the support for a later OS support is, also there is usually a CAL associated with the Wyse Thin Client, at present it supports and has a Windows 7 CAL, it may not have a Windows 10 CAL.
