Can I IPSEC remotely to an RV340 Cisco router?

HI, I wanted to get a Cisco RV340 and use it for vpn for remote clients.  I'm trying to find info on it, but it's confusing to me.

So it looks like there is a client called AnyConnect by Cisco that works with the 340, but there is a cost for it, and I have to find a reseller, that seems strange to me.  I used the PPTP client on other RV's for years.

I hear the 340 has IPSEC for remote clients, but can't verify that.

Question, can I connect a Windows or Mac client using the native IPSEc software to an RV340?

Thanks All.

IIRC the Windows VPN client requires IPsec with IKEv2, which should be supported with recent Cisco firmware. I don't have any reference to people having managed to get an IPsec connection, though.

Sorry for the lag, thanks all.

Arnie, is that supported on the RV and can i just use the stock Windows vpn client?

Arnold, kinda same thing, can I use the stock Windows IPSec client?  Do you know the cost of the Cisco Any Connect client?

Qlemo, so it sounds like it will work then?
"Sounds like", yes.

Thanks all, I really wanted that RV now I'm getting it for Christmas
I do not know. I often, test it out it either will work or it will not.
The firmware on the device has to be https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/routers/cisco-rv-series-small-business-routers/smb5535-anyconnect-licensing-for-the-rv340-series-routers.html

I do not know the price,

If the windows VPN option runs into issues, you could look at shrew soft vpn client (shrew.net) as another option to try.

If that does not work, you could setup openvpn server on a system behind the router and open the openVPN port to connect to it.
