Thanks. Booted to safe mode. It immediately rebooted and I let it go in normal mode. It continued through to the end when it noted the update had failed. &nbsp;It then backed out the changes.

The December rollup is not completing on one of our 2012r2 servers. &nbsp;It says installing step 1 of 5. &nbsp;Then it reboots. When it comes back up it starts over again on step 1. It never progresses to step 2.

December rollup update on server 2012r2 is looping

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
