We have multiple companies under the same umbrella

the users from one company use www.company1.com

The users from another use www.company2.com

I have an iis application that I would like to be hit regardless from  www.company1.com or ww,company2.com

assuming this is an iis configuration ?

Your best bet is to point the domains to your main domain, then do a 301 redirect from domain2 (or domain3, 4 5 etc) to domain1. That way you can get your ssl cert for domain1 and not have to worry about the other domains.

What is the point of having all the different domains for one app?  The best options is to just say the app is at domain1 and only give that out.

I think the answer to the question you want is simply adding bindings to iis. All that is going to do is is allow company1.com, company2.com, company3.com and so on all point to the same site. The url will change but the logo and other custom information will always be the same. You would need to use your serverside code to detect the url (company1) and display company1 logo and other text you want to display.

However, if all you want to do is show a company name in the app, I would do that by the log in. Meaning everybody logs in at appname.com.  If user xxx logs in, then show the logo for company 1. If user yyyy logs in, then show the logo and company information for company 2.
