I have recently replaced my old desktop with a new one.
On the old, I had the software "EMS SQL Manager Lite for Interbase and Firebird.
I used it to look inside a Firebird database I use in an application. Mainly looking at content of tables, issuing queries etc...
So now I installed the latest version of EMS, version 5.5.4
Now I do not remember precisely the steps to follow to register the database in the SQL Manager tool

All you need is connection method (Local - TCP/ID- Embedded)..username/password and the client .dll ..usually GDS32.dll and of course the database name
