So you have tried accessing the boot menu using the keyboard F8, right after the HP initialization is complete?
Is the OS up long enough to start a RDP session?
Is the OS up long enough to start msconfig and select safe mode?

Hi. After som investigation i solved it. I needed to boot on Windows server dvd and load the driver for the raid. After that i could go into CMD and write the command to get the "safe mode" prompt. Bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes.
The issue is fixed.
F8 didnt work.
No the Os was just looping directelly when the updates tried to install.
So this was the on way.

Thanks for your answer.
Had the same issue on a Dell server, another buggy update from the overlords no real surprise there.

F8 into safe mode (w/o networking) allowed the updates to finish, and a reboot confirmed the issue was resolved.
Out of curiosity, what antivirus are you running on the server
Hi kenfcamp. I really don´t know actually. It was an server that i not was admin on. I hade to do a fast repair so i jumped in and helped to fix this issue.
I understand ;)
